How do I make Sea Moss Gel?
- Thoroughly clean your Dry Sea Moss. Rinse off the sand, and remove any rocks that may still be attached.
- Soak your Dry Sea Moss in a glass container for 12-24 hours in natural spring water or distilled water. This will rehydrate the herb.
- Once done soaking, rinse your Sea Moss off again. Discard the water used to soak your Sea Moss.
- Add your Sea Moss to a pot with distilled or natural spring water, and bring it to a boil.
- Once your Sea Moss is boiling turn your setting on a low medium heat (setting 2-3), and let simmer for 10-15 minutes.
- Transfer the contents of your pot into a blender. ( both the cooked Sea Moss, and the water it was boiled in) Blend the contents until you arrive at a gel-like consistency. Add water during the blending process to alter the thickness and consistency of the gel.
- Pour your Sea Moss into a glass container, and place it in the refrigerator. Your Sea Moss Gel will thicken in consistency once it cools down.
